Below is a chronological list of competitions that BHBC has entered. Results or event reports for all of these events that involved BHBC crews should already be available. This page is mostly to assist the construction of subsequent years' events calendars.

Believe it or not, the club existed for a short while without a website!!! Pre-event details are not available for the first few months, but of course results are here.
Bedford Small Boats Head and Autumn Fours : 17 October 1999
2000 metre downstream course on River Great Ouse
- Division 2 at 11:00 — N.2x
- Division 4 at 13:30 — S3.2-
- Division 6 at 16:30 — S4.4+

Cambridge Autumn Head : 30 October 1999
2600 metre upstream course on River Cam
- Racing for VIIIs and coxed IVs
- Divisions at 10:00, 11:30, 13:00, and 14:30
- Entries close at 09:00 Monday 25 October 1999

QCBC Bonfire Night Mulled Wine Party : 5 November 1999
As in previous years, Queens' College Boat House is the place to be on November the Fifth. Midsummer Common has the fair and the bonfire — but QCBC has a good view, better food, and the best mulled wine.

Cambridge Winter Head : 13 November 1999
2700 metre upstream course on River Cam
- Racing for VIIIs and coxed IVs
- BHBC has one S4.4+ boat in 14:30 division
- Entries have closed (09:00 Monday 8 November 1999)
The Senior 4 coxed four will meet at 13:00 at Queens' Boat House for a quick paddle.

QCBC Cambridge Novice Ergo Competition : 15 November 1999
The last two years have seen Queens' Fitzpatrick Hall host an immensely successful ergo competition for large numbers of Cambridge novice oarsmen and women. Last year, over seven hundred people took part and many more were there to encourage the rowers.

Fullers' Head of the River Fours : 20 November 1999
4.25 mile course on the Thames Tideway between Mortlake and Putney
- Racing for coxed and coxless IVs and quads
- First division starts at 13:00
- BHBC has one boat in S3.4+ (C) category
- QCBC has one boat in S3.4+ (A) category
- Entries have closed
The BHBC coxed four, racing in the Senior 3 (Club) category, is starting 470th (near the front of division 6). QCBC are also racing. They start 146th (near the front of division 2) and are competing in the Senior 3 (Academic) category.

The crew will meet by 9 a.m. on Putney Embankment to rig.

Perpetual British Indoor Rowing Championship : 28 November 1999
Rivermead Leisure Complex, Reading
- 2000m on a Concept II Model C
- Entry fee £7.50
- Entries have closed
The Club Chairman, Paul Knights will be there. Club Captain, Shailen Majithia has also entered, but will probably be off coaching Pembroke Birds. It's a hard life.

Fairbairn Cup Races : 3 December 1999
4300 metre downstream course on River Cam
- Racing for college and invited VIIIs
- BHBC have entered one VIII in the invitation event
Crew, with five members of the Town Bumps crew on board, as follows:
